Choosing a Domain Name

A good domain name is the first step in helping people find your website so it should represent your business and be easy to remember.

While .com is the most commonly recognized there are also other extensions such as .net, .biz, .me, .org, .co, etc. These do not affect the search of a site but rather how easily people can remember them. If your domain isn’t available in .com try one of the other extensions. My only advice is to stay away from .co as it is often confused with .com.

Once you have decided on a domain name you’ll need to see if it’s available and register it.
